Both platforms charge 0% on your sales when you use their native processor; standard Stripe processing (~2.9% + 30¢ in the US) goes to Stripe, not the platform. Kajabi adds a 0.5%–5% surcharge if you bring your own third-party Stripe account (the Basic-tier rate is disputed across sources; the 5% entry and 0.5% Pro rates are confirmed). Some sources report PayPal is exempt from the surcharge.
Kajabi Payments also lists add-on fees: ~+0.7% on subscription/payment-plan charges, ~+1.5% on international cards, ~$0.15/txn for sales-tax collection, ~+1% currency conversion.
